Why I fly in the dream?

often dream of flying, in the dream, I can handle the way of flying, and there is a 'technique' on how to fly in the dream. I can fly above the buildings or just above the ground. What is the reason?

    Dreams of flying have to do with newfound freedom and power, and possibly with the confidence in future success.

    The technique is not as important as the phenomenon of flying itself.
